DEPARTMENT FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS MOVES TO NEW BUILDING
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A new office building has opened to shelter the Department of Service for Foreign Citizens and Naturalization (DSFCN). It is located in Buyant-Ukhaa near the Chingis Khaan international airport. The DSFCN moved to its new office Thursday.
The DSFCN was founded in 1926 initially named "Section of passport". Later, it changed the name several times such as Passport Section at the State Police Department and a Section of Foreign Citizens Registration and Control until 2008. Now, the Department works with five sections and four squads in the scope of duties of the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs.
