Russia, Singapore mark 40th anniversary of dipl relations.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 (Itar-Tass) - A Singaporean government delegation, led by Senior Minister (Vice-Premier) Goh Chok Tong andMinister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, leaves for Moscow on Tuesday for a four-day visit.

Singaporean media report that both persons will meet with the leaders of Russia, leaders of Russian big business, young politicians, and entrepreneurs. The meetings are organised on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Russia.

On June 4, the delegation will attend a one-day forum on the theme of "Business in Russia: Art of Success", opening at the Alexander S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. More than 100 businessmen from Singapore and other countries in the Asia-Pacific Region will participate in the forum along with executives of Russian and multinational companies operating in Russia.

Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Goh Chok Tong, Singapore's Senior Minister, will deliver the main reports at the forum.

Lee Kuan Yew, 85, the father of the present Head of Government Lee Hsien Loong and the author of the Singaporean economic "miracle", who wrote a book (translated into Russian) about that under the title of "From Third World to First: The Singapore Story", will on the same day attend asession of the International Board of Trustees of the Moscow School of Management "Skolkovo". The Board of Trustees is headed by RussianPresident Dmitry Medvedev.
