PRINCE ANDREW, DUKE OF YORK VISITS AZERILME LTD`s “MAGIC ORNAMENTS” GALLERY IN BAKU

Baku, 2 December (AzerTAc). Prince Andrew, Duke of York has visited Wednesday here the carpet-making factory Azerilme Ltd`s “Magic ornaments” gallery.
He was informed that carpets produced by Azerilme were awarded special prizes and Diplomas in sale exhibitions in US, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and Russia.
Prince Andrew discribed Azerbaijan`s carpet-making art as “interesting” and “rich”.
He signed the gallery `s guest book.

The same day, Prince Andrew visited the International Mugham Center.
He was briefed about the Center which was built at the initiative of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva. It is one of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s important projects to protect national-spiritual values and popularize them throughout the world. As known, President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on April 6, 2005 to establish the International Mugham Center.
Prince Andrew saw the busts of outstanding Azerbaijani mugham singers.
