RIDERSHIP EXCEEDS 150 MILLION THROUGH TRACECA CORRIDOR
Baku, December 1 (AzerTAc). Cargo and passenger traffic in the Azerbaijani section made up 32.1 mln tons and 152.2 million people via the Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) transport corridor for January-September, State Statistics Committee said.
The share of the railway transport in the overall amount of cargo traffic constituted 44.6%, while motor transport 37.2% and sea transport 18.3%.
Cargo traffic via the corridor accounted for 23.3% of overall cargo transportation in the country.
