Tokyo, Nov. 28 (Jiji Press)--Japan Business Federation Chairman
Fujio Mitarai will visit the three Southeast Asian nations of Thailand,
Singapore and Vietnam for a week from Sunday.
Mitarai and other members of Japan's largest business lobby, known
as Nippon Keidanren, will meet with top leaders of these nations to discuss

integration in the future.
Nippon Keidanren is preparing for an Asia business summit, to be
held in Tokyo in March 2010, that will bring together business leaders of 10
Asian economies including China, South Korea and key members of the
Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
During his visit, Mitarai hopes to form a consensus with local
leaders on growth strategies for Asia ahead of the Tokyo summit.
Other participants in the tour are more than 10 top leaders of
Japanese companies.
The Japanese team will meet with Thai Prime Minister Abhisit
Vejjajiva, Singapore's former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and Vietnamese
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
