DELEGATION OF AZERBAIJAN`S GOVERNMENT MEDIA SUPPORT FOUNDATION VISITS AUSTRIA
Vienna, November 29 (AzerTAc). The delegation of the Government Media Support Foundation led by its executive director Vugar Safarli paid a working visit to Austria on November 22-29 to learn about Austria`s experience in government`s supporting media.
The delegation held meetings in the International Press Institute, Austrian Communications Authority, Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Austrian Newspapers Association, Newspaper in School Society, Austrian Circulation Control Board, and reputable Kurier and Standard newspapers.
The delegation raised the issues concerning the conception of government`s media support, the foundation set up by President Ilham Aliyev`s order of April 3, 2009 and prospects for cooperation.
