Russia: Iran is a reliable partner for Moscow
Moscow, Nov 29, IRNA – The Russian Federation considers Iran as an important and reliable economic and commercial partner, said the deputy head of Asian and African countries department in the Russia Economic Development Ministry.
In an interview with the Russian News Agency "Iran Plus", Alexander Karpich said on Friday that many believe that the two countries are ready to develop bilateral cooperation.
Referring to the upcoming joint economic commission meeting in Tehran, he added that a wide range of issues will be discussed between experts in the meeting.
Among issues to be discussed are cooperation in the fields of nanotechnology and information technology, the Russian official said.
The 8th meeting of Iran Russia joint economic commission will be held in Tehran on Monday and Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko will attend the meeting./end
