MAMMADYAROV BEATS HAO IN KHANTY-MANSIYSK

Baku, November 28 (AzerTAc). Azeri chess grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has defeated Chinese Wang Hao in the first leg of the 1/16 of final in the world cup tournament in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. The win is the fifth in a row for Mammadyarov in the competition.
Another Azeri grandmaster Vugar Hashimov drew with China`s Lee Chao.
Three Azeri players Teymur Rajabov, Gadir Huseynov and Rauf Mammadov have already been knocked out of the competition.
