AZERBAIJAN TAKES ACTIVE PART IN SPORT COMPETITIONS, HEAD OF UK SPORT INSPIRATION PROGRAM
Sumgait, 27 November (AzerTAc). “President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev pays great attention to development of sport. Your country takes an active part in sport competitions. The important thing is that it brings results,” head of the International sport inspiration program administered by the UkSport Elias Musangeya said at the meeting in the Sumgait Paralympic Sport Complex.
Present at the meeting were Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Paralympic Committee Afig Suleymanov, Chief of the Central Department of Youth and Sport of Sumgait Musa Hasanov and other officials.
He said Azerbaijan is one of five countries participating in the program funded by the government and public organizations of the United Kingdom. He stressed the program actively cooperates with the National Olympic and Paralympic committees.
