FIRST LADY OF EGYPT AWARDED DIPLOMA OF HONORARY DOCTOR OF AZERBAIJAN STATE ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY
Baku, November 27 (AzerTAc). A diploma of the Honorary Doctor of the Azerbaijan State Economic University was presented to the First Lady of Egypt Suzanne Mubarak at the Presidential Palace in Cairo. Present at the ceremony were Director of the Alexandria Library Ismayil Serageldin, rector of the Economic University Shamsaddin Hajiyevm, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Egypt Faig Bagirov and other officials.
Speakers highlighted the contribution of First Ladies Mehriban Aliyeva and Suzanne Mubarak to development Azerbaijan-Egypt relations.
Egypt First Lady Mubarak asked to pass on her greetings to Azerbaijani First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. She said the people of Egypt have always support Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Suzanne Mubarak accepted the invitation to attend the 80th anniversary of the State Economic University.
The Azerbaijan delegation visited the Library of Alexandria. The State Economic University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Library of Alexandria.
