Tatarstan keen to boost industrial cooperation with Iran

Moscow, Nov 25, IRNA – The minister of industry and trade of Tatarstan (a republic of the Russian Federation) called Wednesday for further industrial cooperation with Iran.

Ravilj Zaripov made the remarks in his meeting with the Advisor to Iran's Energy Minister, Mehdi Samareh-Hashemi, in the capital city of Kazan.

During the meeting, Zaripov said that Tehran-Kazan enjoy great potentials for promotion of bilateral industrial cooperation in the petrochemical, gas, oil and electricity fields.

Meanwhile, the Iranian official said that Tehran sees bilateral relations with Tatarstan as positive.

He hoped the two sides would expand industrial and energy cooperation.

Later, Samareh-Hashemi invited the Tatar side to visit Iran. The invitation was welcomed by Zaripov./end
