Rezazadeh appointed as IWF envoy
Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Iranian "Hercules" Hossein Rezazadeh has been appointed as the envoy of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
The decision was announced by the IWF President, Tamas Ajan during a meeting with Rezazadeh in Goyang, South Korea.
During the visit, Ajan said he had appointed the two-time Olympic gold winner and the manager of the Iranian weightlifting team as the IWF envoy.
IWF president also appreciated the performance of Rezazadeh as the head of Iran weightlifting team.
Rezazadeh bade farewell to weightlifting ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He won two Olympic gold medals in the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens./end
