INITIATIVE GROUP OF UNION OF EUROPEAN AZERBAIJANI WOMEN ORGANIZATIONS ESTABLISHED
Baku, 21 November (AzerTAc). An Initiative Group of the Union of European Azerbaijani Women Organizations was established, press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora (SCWD) said.
The decision was adopted during the two-day joint meeting of the European Azerbaijanis Congress and Azerbaijani-Turkish Diaspora Organizations Coordination Council held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Chairperson of Netherlands` Union of Azerbaijani Women Gulshan Kazimova said the initiative group will give impetus to activity of Azerbaijani women in Europe. They will popularize Azerbaijani culture, literature, art, national traditions in the European countries, she said.
The initiative group includes women activists of Azerbaijani Diasporas from Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. The founding conference is expected to be held by early 2010.
