NORWAY PRAISES AZERBAIJAN`s ‘LARGE-SCALE’ JUDICIAL REFORMS

Baku, 25 November (AzerTAc). Secretary General of Norway`s Ministry of Justice and Police Morten Ruud hailed “large-scale” judicial reforms the Azerbaijani government had conducted in the country. Speaking to Azeri Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov, as part of his visit to Baku, Ruud said Azerbaijan`s achievements in improving its judicial system were also hailed by international organizations.
On bilateral relations between the two countries, Ruud said Norway was keen in ensuring their overall development.
Mammadov hailed the cooperation between the Azeri and Norwegian justice authorities.
He also praised Norwegian legal experts` contribution to training Azerbaijani judges.
