AZERBAIJANI ONCOLOGISTS “KEEN” TO COOPERATE WITH ITALIAN SCIENTISTS

Baku, November 24 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev meet with Italian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mario Baldi. Mr. Shiraliyev said Azerbaijani oncologists are keen to cooperate with Italian scientists. He underlined that a text of memorandum on mutual understanding has been already coordinated with Italian side but delayed because of structural changes in the Italian Health Ministry. Mr. Baldi supported proposal on increase of import of medicines and medical equipments from Italy.
Currently, the two countries established cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical science. Azerbaijani students will study at Rome University “La Sapienza”.
