Iran to establish int'l schools in Tajikistan, UK

Tehran, Nov 24, IRNA- Two Iranian international schools are scheduled to be established in Tajikistan and the UK in the near future, said Ali Akbar Qasemi, the Head of the Iranian Schools which are based abroad.
The aforesaid schools, which are affiliated to the Ministry of Education, will be inaugurated in the next Iranian academic year (September 23-June 20) and will admit 180 and 300 students in the UK and Tajikistan, respectively, Qasemi added.
Likewise, some other international schools are to be established in Qatar, Kuwait, Syria and Turkey in the near future, he further said.
Currently an Iranian international school is active in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the official noted, adding that three international schools are now operating for foreigners residing in Iran.
Iran has established over 107 international schools in 79 countries./end
