Iran holding carpet exhibition in Lebanon
Iranian experts are holding a six-day hand-made carpet exhibition in Lebanon for the second time, it is reported on Saturday.
The exhibition was inaugurated at a ceremony on Friday with participation of both Iranian and Lebanese officials.
Iran’s Economic Attaché to Beirut said the exhibition aims at introducing the hand-woven Iranian carpets to the Arab markets, the Lebanese in particular.
Ebrahim Saeedi said 21 Iranian companies have been taking part in the exhibition.
Saeedi added the hand-made carpets are worth dlrs 10 million.
Meanwhile, the deputy commerce minister of Lebanon said at the ceremony that Iran’s exhibition would contribute to fostering Tehran-Beirut economic ties.
