PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VISITS GILAN AND KNAUF GIPSO-KARTON LTD
Goranboy, November 20 (AzerTAc). President Ilham Aliyev has today here inspected the activity of the “Gilan and Knauf Gipso-Karton” Ltd, plasterboard producer.
The Head of State was told that the company is one of a kind in the Caucasus region. The construction of the enterprise started in 2006 with production beginning in 2008. The company provided with German company Knauf`s equipment employs over 900 people.
A training center to upgrade the skills of the company`s workers began to function in 2009.
President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated a new calcium plant located in the area of the enterprise.
The Head of State pushed the button starting the plant.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed the products produced by the plant, wished every success to the plant`s team and gave recommendations and instructions.
