INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL FESTIVAL WRAPS UP
Baku, November 18 (AzerTAc). An international Musical Festival dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Azerbaijani Composers` Union has ended in Baku, on November 17.
Chairperson of the Union Firangiz Alizade said Baku hosted tens of “Baku – the capital of Islamic culture-2009” events.
The six-day festival covered an international conference “Azerbaijani composers` school: search and prospects”, an event dedicated to the 10th jubilee of the “Musical world” magazine, concert-exhibition “Youth in vanguard: in the world of sounds and colors” and the roundtable meetings.
Azerbaijani capriccio by eminent composer Fikrat Amirov closed the festival.
