AZERI POWERLIFTERS SUCCEED IN LAS VEGAS

Baku, November 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani powerlifters Bakhtiyar Guliyev (100 kg), Rufat Agayev (125 kg) and Vugar Namazov (over 140kg) won gold medals in the WPF powerlifting, bench press and deadlift world championships held in Las Vegas, US.
Bakhtiyar Guliyev and Rufat Agayev were successful in all three events, while Vugar Namazov in deadlift.
The championships brought together about 250 powerlifters from 30 countries.
