AZERI FM RECEIVES COPY OF CREDENTIALS FROM NEW KUWAITI ENVOY
Baku, November 17 (AzerTAc). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received a copy of credentials on Monday from newly-appointed ambassador of Kuwait Ghassan Abdulbari al-Zawawi.
The ambassador said he is pleased to continue his career in Azerbaijan, and vowed to make every effort to contribute to deepening relationship between the two countries.
The diplomat noted Kuwait is interested in boosting cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Elmar Mammadyarov, in turn, congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment. He described relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait as “high-level”.
The sides also discussed the ongoing developments in the South Caucasus and other issues.
