AZERI MP TO ATTEND PACE MEETINGS
Baku, November 16 (AzerTAc). Head of Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, MP Samad Seyidov will be attending meetings of the PACE Bureau, Standing and Monitoring Committees in Bern and Paris between November 17 and 20.
The agenda of the sessions will include improving the quality and consistency of asylum decisions in the Council of Europe member states, freedom of religion and other human rights for non-Muslim minorities in Turkey and for the Muslim minority in Thrace (Eastern Greece), replacement of co-rapporter for Azerbaijan Evguenia Jivkova and statements on fact-finding mission to Albania and Ukraine.
