Culture minister stresses importance of cultural interchanges
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini here on Monday called on the world statesmen to help boost cultural interchanges among various nations.
He made the remarks while addressing a cultural gathering attended by ambassadors and cultural representatives of several world countries including France, Italy, Hungary, South Korea and Armenia.
Hosseini said paying attention to political and economic issues is not adequate, underlining the need for further consideration of cultural issues.
He expressed hope that the Islamic Republic could arrange various cultural programs at the international level.
Hosseini said his ministry is trying to present the real picture of the Islamic Republic to the world through joint cultural and artistic activities with other countries.
