Iranian, Azeri officials meet
Head of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Hossein Anvari has held separate talks in Azerbaijan with a number of Azeri officials including Milli Majlis Speaker Ogtay Asadov and the deputy prime minister on expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The Azeri speaker appreciated in the meeting the committee’s 15-year support for the war-displaced people in Azerbaijan, it was reported on Sunday.
For his part, the Iranian official said the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee is ready to promote employment plans in Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, Azeri Deputy Prime Minster Ali Hasanov said the Iranian committee is the great humanitarian body that Azerbaijan supports its activities.
