KUWAIT TIMES: AZERBAIJAN A UNIQUE VENUE TO DISCUSS INTERCIVILIZATIONAL AND INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE

Baku, 13 November (AzerTAc). The Kuwait Times daily has published an article about a Baku-hosted conference, calling the country “a unique venue to discuss inter-civilizational and interreligious dialogue”.
The authors stressed the importance of the “Inter-civilizational dialogue: Insight from Azerbaijan” conference,
praising Azerbaijan`s contribution to “strengthening dialogue among civilizations, religions and cultures”.
“Azerbaijan, situated at the crossroads of civilizations, has always played an important role in promoting democratic values in the region,” the article said.
The article stressed the importance of supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity by member nations of the Organization of the Islamic Conference as response to Armenia`s military aggression.
The authors described Azerbaijan as one of the centers of Islamic civilization: “As a rapidly developing secular Muslim country, Azerbaijan can set an example to other nations.”
