SLOVENIAN LEADER IMPRESSED BY ICHARISHAHAR
Baku, November 10 (AzerTAc). Slovenian President Danilo Turk said he is very impressed by Icharishahar, which is the cultural and rich heritage of Azerbaijani people.
While strolling along the Icharishahar (Inner City), Slovenian president and his spouse Barbara Miklic Turk were informed about the history of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve, which is included in UNESCO`s World Heritage List.
The Slovenian leader also visited the Palace of Shirvanshahs, built at the beginning of 15th century and considered as one of the unique architectural monuments of Azerbaijan, and Giz Galasi (Maiden Tower).
