GCC FMs affirms support Yemen
DOHA, Nov. 10 (Saba) - Foreign Ministers of Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) accentuated on Tuesday their countries' support to Yemen
against any
challenges it faces.
The GCC States affirmed support the country's efforts to encounter whatever
endangers its security and stability, the GCC Foreign Ministers said in their
speeches in the
opening session of the second meeting ofForeign Ministries Council held in the
Qatari Capital, Doha.
Oman's Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs Youssef bin Alawi said "Yemen is most
significant neighbouring country".
He emphasized that Yemen's security is the GCC States' security, adding that "GCC
States will continue coordinating with Yemen at all levels".
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal said that Yemeni-Saudi relations would
remain distinct.
The first, who opposed the sneaking of al-Houthi followers to the Saudi
territories, was President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
