"Aden …Yemen's gate to world" conference to be kicked off
ADEN, Nov. 10 (Saba) - The investment and economic conference of "Aden …Yemen's gate to world" is to be kicked off on Wednesday in Aden governorate.
Hundreds will take part in the conference that will focus on seven issues dealing
with the development strategy to improve Aden city, upgrade the free zones' role,
develop
Aden Free Zone and the investment opportunities in the governorate.
About 800 participants are to participate in the conference, including well-known
international personalities, businessmen, officials, executive directors of Yemeni,
Arab
and foreign companies, experts from international organizations and some bodies
engaged in free zones management in UAE, Oman, Egypt, Malaysia, Jordan, Singapore
and China.
Chairman of Aden Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the conference
preparatory committee Mohammed Ba-Mashmous said that the conference would
concentrate on identify
the major challenges and obstacles that hinder investment in Aden and its Free Zone
in addition to how to tackle them.
Many strategic investment opportunities in AFZ, Aden city and the adjacent
governorates will be displayed during the conference, Ba-Mashmous said.
