IRANIAN MPs VISIT THALASSEMIA CENTER IN BAKU
Baku, November 10 (AzerTAc). Iran`s parliamentary delegation has visited today the Thalassemia Center here.
The parliamentarians were informed that the Center which receives about 50 patients a day was constructed as part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation-initiated “For Life without Thalassemia” Program.
They were told there are approximately 1000 people with thalassemia and about 700 of them are under control.
The Center which has three regional branches meets international standards.
The guests praised the work of the Center.
