IMF TO KEEP ON SUPPORTING FINANCIAL, ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS IN YEMEN



SANA'A, Nov.09 (Saba) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF)'s
mission, currently visiting Yemen, affirmed on Monday the fund's
readiness to keep on offering all available support to Yemen's
efforts aiming at applying more financial and administrative reforms.

This came during the meeting concluded Monday and chaired by
Minister of Planning and Intl. Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi
between Yemeni government and the IMF's mission.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to enhancing
reforms in the general finance field and the financial
administration improvement.

Al-Arhabi renewed Yemen's keenness on applying decisions of the
national agenda for reforms, valuing the efforts exerted by the
fund's mission to help Yemen to face the global financial crisis's
impacts and oil production and prices decline.

He praised the fund's contributions to support Yemen's efforts in
applying the national agenda for reforms, affirming Yemen's
willingness to strengthen and develop the current and future
cooperation relations with the fund.
