YEMEN, ITC TALK ON COOPERATION AREAS

SANA'A, Nov.09 (Saba) - Yemen and International Trade Center (ITC)
discussed here on Monday the cooperation areas in developing Yemeni
fish exports quality and improving their reputation in the
international markets.

During his meeting with ITC's expert and international experts in
field of health standards and strategies preparation, Minister of
Fisheries Mohammad Shamlan valued the technical assistances offered
by ITC for the Yemeni Fish Exporters Association especially in field
of applying the international systems of exports quality.

Shamlan pointed out that this technical assistance would increase
the Yemeni fish exports' value in the international markets and
achieve added-value that is beneficial for the fishermen, exporters
and the national economy in general.

The ITC's expert affirmed the center's readiness to provide
technical support to Yemen for advancing the fish exports to reach
the international products ranks in quality and safety standards.
