Roar's injured return to training

Just days after striker Sergio Van Dijk's double delivered his first A-League
victory, Brisbane Roar coach Ange Postecoglou has received some good news on the
injury front.

The 2-0 win over Adelaide on Friday night ended a five-game run without a win, and
gave Postecoglou his first three points since replacing Frank Farina last month.
And the Roar boss has received a big boost with the news several key players are on
the verge of making comebacks from injury.
Postecoglou believes with a full playing roster the Roar can give any club a run for
the their money.
Last week he got Brazilian striker Reinaldo back in the forward line and now his
compatriot Henrique and others are pushing for selection for the Roar's next game
against Melbourne Victory.
The slick Henrique was back on the training paddock on Monday and delighted to be
involved in his first session since injuring his knee in Brisbane's last match
against the Victory five weeks ago.
"It's a big achievement for me," the 24-year-old said.
"Today was the first session that I actually trained with the boys, touching the
ball and working normally.
"Fitness-wise I feel really good but my touch is not 100 per cent yet."
The Brazilian livewire was joined by injured colleagues Michael Zullo, Charlie
Miller and Massimo Murdocca at the training session in a good news day for
Postecoglou.
The Roar have missed Henrique's attacking flair and the former Formiga player is a
certainty for a recall if he continues to train well.
He said it hadn't been easy watching from the sidelines when he knew he could help
out his teammates.
"It was a really frustrating time for me, not being able to help, but hopefully
that's finished now and I'm looking forward to a new beginning."
