President says Iran to foster cooperation with Turkey

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a meeting on Sunday evening in Istanbul that cooperation between Iran and Turkey will be further promoted and there will be no limit to that.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in his meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 25th Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference underway in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

Ahmadinejad underlined that the two countries have the same interests.

Meanwhile, Turkey's Erdogan called for further bilateral economic and political relations with Iran.
