Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung leaves Hanoi on
Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung leaves Hanoi on November 6 morning
for the first Japan-Mekong Summit to begin in Tokyo the same day.
He went at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. The Vietnamese
delegation includes Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc, Vietnamese
Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Phu Binh, deputy head of the Government’s Office Van
Trong Ly and Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son.
Dung’s attendance at the two-day summit aims to affirm the importance Vietnam
attaches to ties with Japan and its determination to enhance bilateral strategic
partnership, the foreign ministry said.-Enditem
