TRANS-EURASIAN SUPER INFORMATION HIGHWAY PROJECT TO BE DISCUSSED AT UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Baku, November 4 (AzerTAc). “It is about for two years that Azerbaijan has initiated the Transnational Eurasian Super Information Highway project. Discussions on the project have been included in the agenda of the UN General Assembly,” according to Deputy ICT Minister Elmir Velizadeh.
“We expect the adoption of a special decision on the project at the General Assembly, and this will pave the way for discussions on its realization,” Velizadeh said.
“The project will also be featured at the Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition BakuTel-2009 kicking off today at the Heydar Aliyev Sport and Concert Complex.”
The Transnational Eurasian Super Information Highway project is designed to establish high speed exchange of data between Europe and Asia.
