ROMANIAN YOUNGSTERS VISIT AZERI MINISTRY OF YOUTH AND SPORT
Baku, November 4 (AzerTAc). A group of youngsters from Bucharest have visited Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Youth and Sport where they met deputy minister Intigam Babayev.
Babayev highlighted Azerbaijan`s sport and youth policy priorities.
He praised the government`s work to strengthen the Azeri youth`s relations with their foreign counterparts.
“There are more than 170 youth organizations in Azerbaijan, and they are involved in active and fruitful cooperation with their counterparts abroad.”
“We have been conducting reciprocal visits and a large number of events involving youth aimed at promoting our culture, history and traditions abroad. For example we have joint projects with Cuba, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Moldova,” the deputy minister added.
Babayev also praised the level of tolerance in Azerbaijan, saying “representatives of all religions live here in peace and brotherhood”.
