AZERI SAMBO WRESTLERS TO BATTLE FOR WORLD MEDALS
Baku, November 3 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan national sambo team will compete in the world championship starting in Thessaloniki, Greece, on Thursday.
The national squad will consist of Yusif Karimov weighing in at 52 kg, Islam Gasimov at 57 kg, Elnur Ahmadov at 62 kg, Araz Mukhtarov at 74 kg, Zaur Pashayev at 90 kg and Anar Aliyev at 100 kg.
Azeri referees Yagub Abdullayev and Jabir Ismayilov will officiate in the tournament.
