Scientific cooperation agreement between Yemen, Egypt signed

CAIRO, Nov. 02 (Saba) -
Rector of Aden University Abdul Aziz Ben Habtur has signed in the Egyptian capital,
Cairo,
with the regional assistant director of World Health Organization (WHO) a scientific
cooperation and research agreement to enhance the two parties relations in the field
of modernizing and developing medicines,dentistry, pharmacy and health sciences.

The agreement also dealt with society needs as well as introducing the modern
scientific development in this field. The two parties affirmed the importance of
developing
the partnership and cooperation to improve the Medicines Faculty of Aden University.
Habtur also get acquainted with the nature work of the regional office of WHO in
Cairo and discussed with the office ways of boosting the cooperation relations
between WHO
and the university in the field of development human resources and other fields.
On the other hand, Habtur discussed with rector of Alexandria University Hend
Hanafi ways of exchanging scientific experiences between the two universities in
field of developing
scientific curriculum, exchanging professors as well as implementing joint researches.
Habtur also was given more than 3,300 CDs which contain the latest international
issues in different medical sciences from WHO beside getting the code to access the
scientific
sites of WHO in which Aden professionals will get the latest studies, researches and
issues at the international level.
The site will enable Aden's professors to issue researches and studies and promote
them internationally.
