Vietnam wins eight prizes at the 13 th FIAP
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam won eight prizes at the 13 th International Federation
of Photographic Arts (FIAP) Festival hosted by the Chinese Photographers Association
held last week in Zhejiang province, China .
Tran Ky from Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai won a gold for his work
titled Chuyen La Co That (A Strange but True Story) while Dao Tien Dat from the
southern province of Binh Dinh was awarded with a silver medal for his work Buoc
Ngoat (Turning Point).
Vietnam also won two FIAP bronze medals and four honorary certificates.
The organising board also awarded 11 gold, 17 silver and 24 bronze medals and 29
honorary certificates to photographers from other countries including Belgium , the
Netherlands , Denmark , Russia , Ukraine , India and the host China .
The festival received 70,566 black and white entries from 8,395 photographers from
106 countries and territories.
An exhibition showcasing the photos and an awarding ceremony will be held in
Zhejiang from November 28 to December 2.-Enditem
