New Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman named

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in a special ceremony on Saturday appointed Ramin Mehmanparast as the new Foreign Ministry spokesman.

Mehmanparast also has been introduced as Mottaki’s special assistant at the Foreign Ministry.

Mehmanparast has successful experiences in cultural and media affairs, said the foreign minister.

Mehmanparast has already served as Iran’s ambassador to Thailand and Kazakhstan, director general for cultural affairs and deputy director general for information and the press at the Foreign Ministry.
