CONFERENCE ON CASPIAN SEA`s ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS HELD IN AKTAU
Baku, October 30 (AzerTAc). An international scientific and practical conference on ecological problems of the Caspian Sea basin was held in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
The conference discussed problems of improving quality of sea-water and the Caspian Sea coast conditions, control the man's impact on marine environment of the unique water reservoir, restricting and preventing water pollution, close monitoring of emissions affecting marine environment and protection of the biological resources of the Caspian Sea Basin.
Azerbaijan`s delegation at the event included Siyavush Garayav, rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Havar Mammadov, rector of the Azerbaijan Technical University, Eldar Gunaydin, president of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan friendship society.
