AZERI SPEAKER MEETS PALESTINIAN FM
Baku, October 29 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ogtay Asadov has today met Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riad al-Malki.
Asadov expressed confidence the Palestinian minister`s visit “will give a push to expansion of bilateral relations”.
The speaker briefed Al-Malki on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said “the Azerbaijani and Palestinian people share similar problems”, adding “they must be settled on the basis of international legal norms”.
Al-Malki thanked the Azerbaijani government for supporting his country`s position on international arena.
