The top positions Toyota won are in family cars for its Prius hybrid, in sporty

Japanese carmakers won seven top positions in 2008 and eight in 2009. They won

AG's Porsche ninth.
The survey found that of the 48 models with top reliability scores, 36 were
Asian models. Toyota accounted for 18, Honda eight, Nissan four, and Hyundai
Motor Co., Kia Motors Corp. and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. three each.
