INTERNATIONAL BANK OF AZERBAIJAN CEO AWARDED QUEEN VICTORIA COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL
London, 28 October (AzerTAc). CEO of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) Jahangir Hajiyev was awarded with Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal, Azerbaijan`s embassy in the United Kingdom reports.
This medal is given to businessmen for their contribution to develop business.
IBA CEO was awarded for implementation of successful economic and social programs, initiatives to represent the country in international arena and those concerning charity.
Heads of more than 100 leading companies from Eastern and Central Europe, Baltic States, Central Asia and South Caucasus attended Oxford Summit of Leaders organized by the Europe Business Assembly.
The summit was supported by Syngenta Company, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce and the University of Reading.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the UK Fakhraddin Gurbanov spoke about measures undertaken in his country to provide sustainable economic development, and praised IBA`s role in this regard.
