TOP TURKISH PARLIAMENTARY OFFICIAL PAYS RESPECT TO NATIONWIDE LEADER HEYDAR ALIYEV

Baku, October 28 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Turkey`s Grand National Assembly Murat Mercan has today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. Here, he also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Mercan then proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijan`s valiant sons who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the country. Here he laid a wreath at an Eternal Flame monument.
Mercan also visited a monument to Turkish soldiers.
