AZERI AMBASSADOR MEETS OTTAWA`S MAYOR
Baku, October 28 (AzerTAc). Azeri Ambassador to Canada Mr. Shafiyev met mayor of Ottawa Larry O`Brien. The sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and experience of Canada in town-building and planning.
Ambassador said rapid development of Azerbaijan`s economy resulted in modernization of the towns, construction of new buildings and roads.
Mr. O`Brien told of reconstruction works in Ottawa – one of the safest and high living standards city in the world. Mayor said Azerbaijan`s Day of Republic - May 28 is annually celebrated in Ottawa.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
