OIC to resolve Libyan-Swiss diplomatic crisis: Envoy
GENEVA, Oct 27, SPA -- The Ambassador of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Geneva said Tuesday that the OIC will try to settle the existing diplomatic crisis between Libya and Switzerland.
He disclosed that OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsan Oglu will appoint a
negotiator for the settlement of the problem, adding that OIC always takes interest
in resolving problems facing its member states.
Two days ago, Swiss foreign minister Micheline Calmy-Rey accused Libya of
kidnapping two Swiss subjects.
