RIC favours political settlement of NKorea, Iran nuke problems.
BANGALORE, October 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russia, India and China come out
in favour of a political-diplomatic settlement of the nuclear problems of North Korea and Iran, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said here on Tuesday after a ministerial session within the Russia-India-China (RIC) format.
"We have common views on a need to seek a political-diplomatic
settlement of the situation on the Korean peninsula, first of all as
concerns the North Korean nuclear programme, as well as the Iranian
nuclear programme," the top Russian diplomat said.
