REGULAR SESSION OF COUNCIL OF PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVES DUE IN CIS HEADQUARTERS IN MINSK
Minsk, 26 October (AzerTAc). A regular session of Council of the permanent plenipotentiaries of the CIS member states will take place here tomorrow in the CIS Executive Committee.
As reported, participants of session will discuss execution of the decision of Council of heads of the governments of the Commonwealth member states on optimization of activity of the bodies of branch cooperation of the CIS. Heads of the governments have charged to bodies of branch cooperation of the CIS to concentrate efforts to fulfill the tasks defined by the Concept for further development of Commonwealth and the Plan of Actions for its realization, strategy of economic development of the CIS for the period till 2020.
The decision also contains an assignment on creation of the body of branch cooperation of the CIS in scientific and technical and innovative spheres, and also qualitative improvement of practice of reports of the bodies of branch cooperation at sessions of the supreme bodies of Commonwealth.
Special attention will be given to the results of the session of Ministerial Council of foreign affairs and Council of heads of the CIS states taken place in Chisinau in October current year.
