NEW LIE OF THE ARMENIAN PRESS EXPOSED
Baku, 26 October (AzerTAc). A new lie of the Armenian press has been exposed. On October 20, the “PanArmenian” News Agency has disseminated information that allegedly during hearings on “Promotion and Protection of the Child Rights” held on October 16 in the United Nations General Assembly`s Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs Committee, the Azerbaijani representative`s speech has been interrupted.
To this end, the permanent mission of the Azerbaijan Republic at the United Nations states that during hearings the representative of Azerbaijan in his statement has expressed attitude in regard with the work done in the frame of the United Nations on the question, has brought to the notice the measures undertaken by Azerbaijan in this field. Azerbaijani representative also has noticed that occupation of the Azerbaijan territories by Armenia, along with other known aspects, creates serious problems also from the humanitarian point of view, in particular, in protection of the child rights. The representative, in this context, has brought to attention the facts of serious infringement by the opposite side of the child rights, and then completed his speech.
As reported from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addition to the mentioned false information is also the message that during this session the Armenian representative has allegedly addressed the session. In fact, the representative of Armenia did not address the plenary discussions, and has only answered statement of Azerbaijani representative. In turn, the representative of Azerbaijan has expressed attitude to his answer.
